We are extending the existing Keep Agent Status Online feature with a safeguard to prevent agents from remaining online indefinitely if they forget to log out.
The enhancement introduces an auto-offline mechanism:
Agents will be automatically set to offline after X hours of inactivity.
The value of X should be configurable.
Any user interaction (e.g., sending/receiving messages, dashboard activity) should reset the inactivity timer.
This update ensures better accuracy of live chat availability, prevents ghost online statuses, and improves overall agent management.
