Release Notes 34.9.2

New features and enhancement#

Upgraded core dependencies for security and stability improvements#

#KR-8123, #KR-8456, #KR-8451, #enhancement, #security

Updated key system dependencies to improve security, performance, and maintainability.

These updates help mitigate potential security risks while ensuring the platform remains stable and up-to-date with supported library versions.

Improved preview bubble behavior with click control and configurable close button sizing#

#KR-8558, #enhancement, #webchat

Enhanced the Webchat preview bubble to provide better control and user experience. A new setting has been introduced under Settings > Webchat > Preview Bubble: Disable Click To Open Widget. When enabled, clicking on the preview text bubble will no longer trigger the chat widget to open. Users must click directly on the widget icon to initiate the chat. This helps prevent accidental chat openings when users intend only to dismiss the preview bubble.

Additionally, the close button on the preview bubble is now configurable in size, with options including Default, Medium, Large, and Extra Large. This allows clients to optimize usability and accessibility, making it easier for end users to interact with and close the preview bubble without frustration.

Improved GenAI tab performance with persona caching#

#KR-8639, #enhancement, #genai, #persona

Optimized the loading performance of the GenAI module to reduce latency when accessing the persona list. Previously, the GenAI tab experienced delays due to loading all personas on each access. With this enhancement, a caching mechanism has been introduced to store and reuse persona data, significantly improving load times and responsiveness. This results in a smoother user experience, especially for accounts with a large number of personas.

Added support for WhatsApp Authentication Templates creation within KeyReply#

#KR-7053, #feature, #dashboard, #whatsapp, #authentication-template

Introduced the ability for customers to create and manage WhatsApp Authentication Templates directly within the KeyReply platform, removing the need to rely on CSPM support or manual setup via Meta’s Business Manager.

Authentication Templates follow predefined formats set by Meta and do not support free-text content. With this feature, users can now select the appropriate authentication template type and configure required parameters in alignment with Meta’s standards directly from the KeyReply dashboard.

This enhancement streamlines the template creation process, reduces operational dependency, and accelerates deployment for use cases such as OTP verification and secure user authentication flows.
